Maths and Science, ages 6 to 17, sat online across 24 and 25 October. Score 50 percent or above and you qualify for the Global Round in Sydney. The official practice papers are free from us, whether or not you enter.

Our Story

From one tutoring centre to six ways to grow

Vertex Academy started as a Maths tutoring centre in Avondale, built on small groups, personalised plans and the New Zealand Curriculum. That centre is still our heart, and now it's also the launchpad. Through our international programme network, Vertex students can test themselves in global olympiads, walk university campuses, and welcome students from around the world to Aotearoa.

One room, small groups, and tutors who know every student's name and where they got stuck last week. Sessions run after school and on Saturdays, and olympiad papers can be sat here under supervision if home is not the place for it.
