The NCEA numeracy co-requisite

Every student needs the 20-credit literacy & numeracy co-requisite to be awarded any level of NCEA. The 10-credit numeracy standard is a separate online exam (a Common Assessment Activity) — many students who are fine in class still miss it, and it is the one qualification that carries through into the 2028 Foundational Skills Award.
